I asked Susan Morse of “Keeping Track” which wildlife camera she would prefer to use and she recommended this Reconyx H600. And I think she gave me good advise. After a few trial and errors, I finally got it programed to be “sensitive” and to take a burst of 5 pictures once the motion detector is tripped. I am now getting the results I had hoped. This unit is entirely stealthy, meaning there is no observable flash to take a picture. The motion detector works out to 50 feet which is about as good as you can get. Its pricey but you do get results. The battery pack will work up to a year and a 4 gig card will hold up to 10,000 pictures. One inventory we do not have is a good count on local mammals. This may help. Oh, that’s a fisher crossing my driveway. A coyote passed this spot two hours after and a red fox one hour before this photo was taken along my driveway in Topsfield.
